Today we’re talking about email and web browser protections. Why these two?

Because information security is about prioritizing your actions, you’d be hard pressed to find two more heavily-utilized (therefore, potentially vulnerable) systems in your network that these two.

Hackers target people, so their focus is going to be on where your people spend their time. Ask yourself, “What percentage of their time do my employees spend on email & web browsers [like Chrome or Internet Explorer]?”, and you’ll quickly see why hackers target these systems.

There’s plenty you can do to ensure that these systems are safe for your employees to use, but like all things in cybersecurity, you have to do something about it; it doesn’t just happen on its own.
